==== PPE Check ====
Members are asked to check over their PPE and order any replacement equipment through [[Equipment@SawyersValley.bfb.asn.au|Keith]]. Replacement gear can take some time to come in, so it is important to order early to avoid disappointment.

==== Weekly Vehicle Checks ====
With out being too disparaging, as whole the Brigade has become fairly lax with attending to the weekly vehicle checks. Currently the checks are regularly being completed by just a small group of members, who attend the station each week. The roster is intended to share this responsibility across the Brigade membership, and ensure that not only does everyone do their part in keeping our equipment maintained, but also everyone remains familiar with the equipment and vehicles.

Weekly checks are only notionally scheduled for Tuesday nights - if you are interested in complete a check at some other time during the week contact your team leader, [[LT1@SawyersValley.bfb.asn.au|Dave Wh.]], or [[Captain@SawyersValley.bfb.asn.au|Adrian]] and let them know. Similarly, if you are unavailable to complete the checks during your rostered week, please let your team leader (Lieutenant) know so that alternative arrangements can be made.

==== Gazebo Grant Photo Shoot - 30th June ====
Michelle is looking for volunteers to participate in a photo shoot promoting the recent Shire of Mundaring Smarty Grant that was award to our Brigade. The Brigade used the grant to purchase a portable gazebo to be used at community engagement events.

The photo shoot will be at the station tomorrow (Thursday) between 11:00 and 12:00.

==== Station Open Day - 24th September ====
At the Monday night meeting it was decided that the Brigade will hold an open day on Saturday the 24th of September. This is the first weekend of the Term 3 school holidays, and still within the unrestricted burning period (extinguisher demonstrations!). This also gives just over 12 weeks to engage with our community and develop some interest in the event.
