==== Upcoming Burns ====
The Shire and DFES are running a couple of burns over the next week or so, depending on weather.

  * Monday 7th - Green St, Wooroloo. Briefing at 08:30
  * Tuesday 8th - Riley Rd, Stoneville. Briefing at 08:30

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for both burns. If you are interested in attending either of these burns, please contact [[Captain@SawyersValley.bfb.asn.au|Adrian]].

==== Truck Driver Training ====
Arrangements have been made with the DFES Forrestfield Training Academy for Shire of Mundaring brigades to access the academy vehicles for driver training. Sessions will be conducted Saturdays and Sundays, at the academy. Dates and times are still being confirmed, however it is anticipated that sessions will commence within the month. Anyone interested in obtaining their MR driving license is encouraged to take up this opportunity to gain some valuable practise. It is hoped that these sessions will progress into an organised assessment in the near future.
