It is alleged that the store owners were burning unsaleable rubbish. The fire was extinguished and the incident referred to the Shire Environmental Health Officers. The open day will be an opportunity for the local community to visit our station, learn about our brigade and what we do, and take home some important bushfire safety information. The day will also include many activities for kids, and a cooked breakfast / sausage sizzle.
