==== Expression of Interest - Crews to assist in Burning Eyre Highway ====
DFES are seeking suitably qualified and experienced bushfire volunteers to assist with a program of hazard reduction burns along the Eyre Highway of the coming month. Crews will be flown via chartered aircraft to site, and will camp in a remote location for the week while conducting the burns.

==== Predictive Bushfire Mapping Eye-tracking Study ====
RMIT is seeking volunteers to participate in a study of bushfire mapping. The study is looking to engage with people from all backgrounds (age, ethnicity, how long you've been in Australia, where you live, etc.), and aims to improve how bushfire emergency information is communicated to the public.

This opportunity to participate in this study is open to all members of the public, and you are encourage to share this information with friends and family.

The Shire of Mundaring will be hosting a free "Lunch 'n' Learn" event to present DFES's new Firewise Gardening publication.
