=== 1st May, Bushfire, Ridley Rd Malmalling ===
Turned out to 43ha bushfire in Malmalling. Despite being May, the fire was escalated to 3rd alarm, and involved brigades from outside of the Shire of Mundaring.

=== 2nd May, Illegal Burn, Sexton St Sawyers Valley ===
Called to report of illegal burn on Sexton St in Sawyers Valley. Resident had an unattended pile, which was otherwise within local restrictions.

Attended by: Denise, Keith, Matt, and Shane.

=== 5th May, Illegal Burn, Onslow St Chidlow ===
Turned out to report of illegal burn on Onslow St, Chidlow. Stood down by Chidlow prior to arrival.

=== MR Driving Instructors EOI ===
As part of the upcoming MR driver training, the training group are seeking expressions of interest from volunteers who can assist with providing driver instruction. Instructors must have held a MR license for over two years, be available for either a morning or afternoon training slot, and be prepared to travel to Forrestfield*.

Training will be run throughout June until August. If you are interested in assisting, please contact [[Captain@SawyersValley.bfb.asn.au|Adrian]].

*Efforts are being made to secure a truck to allow training in Mundaring.

==== Brigade Culture Survey, 2025 ====
In a new initiative, the Brigade will be conducting a [[https://forms.gle/M6CemxwJKypnqCs6A|Culture Survey]], to help gauge how the Brigade is travelling. The results will be recorded anonymously, and all members are strongly encouraged to participate. The results will be presented as part of the 2025 AGM.
