==== Annual Skills Refresher 2025 ====
The time as once again come to undertake the annual Skill Refresher training program. This initiative aims to ensure that all active fire fighters enjoy a base level of knowledge applicable to bushfire fighter, with particular focus on the safe and correct operation of the equipment.

It is a Shire of Mundaring requirement that all active firefighters intending to participate in the coming bushfire season must have completed their individual skills refresher before the 1st of November.

==== New Brigade Email System ====
Over the past week we have been migrating the Brigade's email over to Google G-Suite. All office bearer accounts and mailing lists have been migrated, including moving across the inbox contents for each account. Access to email accounts will now be through [[https://gmail.com/]]

G-Suite will provides a number of enhancements to the email service, including greater spam filtering, easier account management, and enhanced security.
