With increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases the Brigade is asked to step up its precautions. With all members now double or triple vaccinated, the greatest risk comes from the station being listed as an exposure site and impacted members needing to quarantine for a minimum of 7 days. It is likely that this will happen to some stations across the region, and unaffected brigades may be asked to provide coverage outside of their normal areas whilst other brigades are inoperable.
For the remainder of the bushfire high threat period, the following precautions will be in place:
These precautions will likely remain in place for the next few months, until we see a break in the weather and some significant rain. It is possible that further precautions may be required as the situation changes. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Adrian.
