Team Messaging Trial
Crew D have been conducting a trial of WhatsApp as a way of coordinating that team's activities, such as vehicle checks. This is allowing the team to receive group messages directly to their phones, and help ensure that each member of the team is reminded of the activities for the week.
If the trial proves successful and useful, WhatsApp may be adopted across the Brigade for coordinating team activities. Obviously SMS and BART will remain the primary methods for incident messaging and turn-outs, and the Brigade email list for whole-of-Brigade messaging.
