Called to report of powerlines down on Sawyers Road. Sawyers Valley 1.4 was out of the area at the time, with a 20 minute delay. Mundaring VFRS was in the area and able to attend to keep the area safe until Western Power arrived. Both the 1.4 and Light Tanker were stood down.

Stoneville VBFB will be conducting the inaugural Back Roads Tour on Saturday the 5th of October. The aim of the Back Roads Tour is to increase local Stoneville knowledge for other Brigades. To do this, all attending appliances will travel in convoy around Stoneville, using the many Fire-Access and Cut-Thru Tracks. The route is expected to take 90-120 minutes, and conclude with a BBQ at Stoneville Station.

Ahead of the Station Open Day the following weekend, the Brigade will be holding a Busy-Bee on Saturday the 7th. The Busy-Bee will involve a general tidy up of the station, cleaning of the appliances, and other preparations for the Station Open Day.
Please make an effort to attend and help out.
The Station Open Day will be held on Saturday the 14th of September (in just over two weeks time). Volunteers are required to help out on the day. Tasks include:

The Brigade will be placing an order for new Brigade T-Shirts next month. This will be funded through a generous donation from students at Eastern Hills Senior High School, at no cost to members.
