Incidents
Pole Fire, Sexton St, 6th Mar
Turned out to report of electrical equipment fire on Sexton St. The fire was knocked down by local residents prior to the Brigade's arrival. Burning ~25sqm, the fire was started by a possum shorting the power line.

Grass Fire, Cade St Mt Helena, 9th Mar
Called to assist at a grass fire started by fallen power lines on Cade St in Mt Helena. With a large turnout of brigades from Mundaring and Swan, the fire was quickly contained.

Community Preparedness Campaign Launch
The Shire of Mundaring will be hold a launch event for its new Community Preparedness Campaign, on Saturday the 22nd of March, at Lake Leschenaultia. The event will include family activities and the unveiling of a new mural at the Lake.
Sawyers Valley Brigade will be attending with all four of its appliances (Light Tanker, 1.4, and mini 1.4s!) as part of the event display. If you are interested in assisting please contact Matt.
