| + | Attended by Adrian, Colin, Dave R., Dave W., John, and Keith, with assistance from Mundaring VFRS and Mt Helena BFB. The fire was an escaped burn in Vernon Avenue in Mundaring. The owner had burnt and extinguished a large section of bush, and left it unattended. The fire reignited and being on the side of a steep slope (>20°) it was able to quickly develop and intensify, eventually spreading across the top half of the block. Quick work by the neighbours prevent the fire from spreading into neighbouring properties, however a shed on the property was impacted. | ||
