Changes to Structural Triage Terminology
Following advice from the State Solicitors Office, a change has been made to the terminology used to describe structures during triage for Urban Defence. Structures should now be described as either “Un-defendable” or “Possibly Defendable”. This changes from previously describing properties as “Defendable”, which implied the loss of a property as being the failure of the defending crews, rather than any other adverse circumstances.
The Field Guide and Standard Operating Procedures have been updated to reflect this new terminology.
