==== Annual Shire Family Event ====
The Annual Shire Family Event for Emergency Service Volunteers will be held on the 14th of March from 17:00 at at Harry Riseborough Oval. All Brigade members and their families are invited to this free event. Catering is provided, with free drinks available. The evening will include a tug-of-war between brigades and a bouncy castle for the kids. A number of Life Membership awards will also be presented by the Shire.

WA SpitRoast will be drawing a raffle on the night, with a chance to win an accommodation package at Crown. Details in the [[http://wiki.sawyersvalley.bfb.asn.au/_media/newsletters:crown_promo_flyer.pdf|attached flier]].

==== Annual Tug-o-War ====
Once again the Annual Tug-o-War between Brigades will be held at the Annual Fire Family Event. Volunteers are sought to form the Sawyers Valley team; teams are limited to six people and must include both male and females.
