If you can spare an hour to assist with setting/packing up or attending the polling station can you please contact Vicki on 0407 831 315 or email [[secretary@sawyersvalley.bfb.asn.au]]. ==== Annual General Meeting ==== The Brigade Annual General Meeting will be held at the Station, 12 Ashstead Street in Sawyers Valley on Monday, 30th May 2022 commencing at 1930 hours. As in previous year's there will be a very short General Meeting preceding the AGM which will commence at 1900 hours. At the conclusion of the AGM, a light supper and refreshments will be provided. Members are reminded that COVID-19 protocols (if any) will need to be observed. Should members be unable to attend, there will be the option to participate via Zoom, or alternatively appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. All relevant documents will be emailed out closer to the meeting date. === Nominations for Office Bearers === Nominations for all positions have closed, with conforming nominations received from - * Warren – Chairperson * Jennifer – Treasurer * Vicki – Secretary * Adrian – Captain / Deputy Chair * Dave Wh. – First Lieutenant * Ben M. – Brigade Training Manager * Keith – Equipment Manager * Denise, Sarah, Rob, and Dave S. – Committee of Management As there was one nomination received for each position and providing no one withdraws their nomination, at the AGM the Returning Officer will declare the member elected to their respective position. === Outstanding Services Award === Nominations for the “Outstanding Services Award” close on Saturday, 28th May. If you would like to nominate a member who you feel has given outstanding service to the Brigade, please nominate using the attached form and place your nomination in the ballot box at the Station. Additional forms are available alongside the ballot box. ==== Bendigo Community Raffle ==== The Brigade will once again be participating in the Bendigo Bank Community Raffle. This year we have only 10 raffle books to sell. Each book has 10 tickets at $5/ticket with 100% of all proceeds going directly to participating organisations. Ticket sales commence 19th May and close 24th October 2022.
