30th September - Camp Fire

Attended by Adrian, Andrew H, Angus, Elton, Graeme (station crew), John and Phil. Camp fire in the car-park at the end of Gorrie Road, with one person in attendance. No risk, but visible from the Highway. Suggested the fire be knocked down a little and occupier's car parked to screen it from the highway, however occupier agreed to extinguish completely and departed.

Proposed Burn - Friday 6th

A burn is being organised for this Friday afternoon/evening. With a week of excellent weather ahead of it, and rain predicted for Saturday and Sunday, this will be an excellent opportunity to get some burning done. If you are interested in attending, please contact John.

Restricted Burning Period

The Shire's Restricted Burning Period has commenced, meaning that a Permit is now required to burn before 18:00. A 1sqm pile of garden refuse may be burnt without a permit after 18:00.

The Restricted Burning Period typically sees an up-tick in turn-outs.
