Investigate Burn - 15th November

Called to investigate a burn in Lance Street, Sawyers Valley. Found a 1sqm pile of leaves. Fire was left with the resident to complete. Attended by Andrew H., Andy, Angus, Dave R., Graeme, and Michelle.

Investigate Stump - 17th November

Called by passer-by to a smouldering tree stump. Nothing found. PaWS also searched the area, with no result. Attended by John L., and Warren.

Skills Refresher

The final date for completion of the annual Skills Refresher is rapidly approaching. If you have not yet completed this please organise a time with Rob, John, or Adrian. One or two evening training sessions can be arranged for next week, to assist with members in completing their skills refresher.

This initiative is very important for maintaining fire ground safety, and is keenly supported by our Chief.

1.4 Returned

Sawyers Valley 1.4 will be back in service from Thursday the 23rd, sporting it's new safety upgrades. Please take some time to (re)familiarise yourself with this vehicle.

A member of Stoneville Brigade is involved with the running of the Etsy Market Day on the 25th of November. A call has been put out for volunteers interested in helping with this event. If you are available and interested in showing some support with a neighbouring brigade, please contact Adrian or Michelle.

The Santa Lolly Run is in the early stages of planning, and will be discussed further this Saturday during the sched. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Vicki. The run will be organised for a few weeks before Christmas.

The date for the Christmas Function is set for Friday 29th December. More planning and information to come. Pop it on your calendar.
