$10,000 Grant
Time is ticking away for the brigade to make use of the State Government's grant to Bushfire Brigades. A lot of good suggestions have been present for items to be purchased, however what is needed now are details. It is requested that if members have a particular idea which they would like to champion, could the provide as much detail around the proposal as possible; quotes, cost-benefit analysis, detailed description of the item(s) to be purchased, etc. This will enable the brigade to start moving on some of these purchases in the near future.

Mundaring Shire Annual Family Event
Last chance to RSVP!
Formally known as the Annual Shire BBQ, this event celebrates the efforts of all the volunteer emergency services in the Shire of Mundaring. All members and their families are invited to attend, with all catering (including drinks) provided by the Shire. An annual tug-of-war is held, and whilst Sawyers has not been successful in recent years, this may be our year!
This year the event will be held on Saturday the 10th of March, from 17:00 at the Mundaring Recreation Ground.
Please RSVP to Vicki or Michelle to assist with catering numbers.
Annual Street Appeal - 18th May
The Annual Bushfire Brigade Street Appeal will be on Friday the 18th of May. This is a great fund raising event, and a way of meeting other volunteers from the service. More details will be circulated when they become available.
