Winter Burning Information Session - 24th June

In association with the Shire of Mundaring, Sawyers will be hosting an information session for local residents on conducting winter burning. This session will instruct residents on how to safely and effectively carry out burning on their own properties over winter.

Interested brigade members are encouraged to participate in the information session. Further sessions will be conducted over coming months at other brigades, allowing members and residents multiple opportunities to be involved.

Please forward this information on to your friends and neighbours, and encourage them to participate in this valuable program.

Re-Affirmation Form 2018

The Brigade will soon be sending out a re-affirmation form to each member. Completing this form provides an opportunity to update your contact and personal details with the brigade. In particular, the form seeks to identify any issues or areas of concern that members may have regarding their ability to undertake brigade activities. The brigade has a duty of care to it's members to ensure that they are not put at undue risk or danger. Information collected in this form will be used to work with each member to ensure that their abilities and limits are well understood, and an appropriate plan is in place to manage any constraints.

Please note that the information collected in this form may be of both a private and sensitive nature. As such, any sensitive information collected will be held in strictest confidence . However, some private information, specifically contact details, will be used to develop the Brigade contact list, as well as the Brigade's entry in the Shire of Mundaring Emergency Services Directory.
