Winter Burning Information Session - 24th June
Due to the ongoing wet weather, the Winter Burning Information Session on the 24th of June has been postponed. The session will instead be held at a future date with more favourable weather conditions.

Mundaring Fire School
The latest Mundaring Fire School calendar is attached.
Current nominations for the Mundaring Prescription Burning course on the 28th of July are low. Anyone interested in attending this course should contact Rob or Adrian.
Administration
By-Election Recruitment Drive - Saturday 23rd June
On Saturday the 23rd of June, a State By-Election will be held for the seat of Darling Range. Mundaring Hall will be hosting a polling station, and this presents an ideal opportunity to undertake a recruiting drive. Volunteers are needed to man a recruitment stall outside the polling station throughout the day.
2018 Reaffirmation Form
The 2018 Reaffirmation Form has been circulated to all members. This form provides an opportunity for our members to update their details with the Brigade. Information collected in this form will be used to inform our operational response,as well as compile the Brigade's entry in the Shire of Mundaring Emergency Services Directory.
Completed forms should be returned no later than Monday the 2nd of July. Print-outs of the form will also be available at the station, next to the sign-in book.

City to Surf
The Brigade is considering getting a SVVBFB team together to walk the 12km City to Surf Perth course in August.
- Date: Sunday 26th August 2018
- Start time: 8:10am
- Dress: Full PPE (trainers not boots)
- Distance: 12km
- Speed: Walk
The registration fee is $49-55 per person. It has been proposed that the Brigade could pay 50% of the registration (details to be discussed at the end of month Brigade meeting).
This will be a family event, so anyone is welcome to join in. Currently we have Adrian, Ben R., Dave W., Michelle, Rob, and Vicki lined up.
