Incidents
Legal Burn Weir Village Rd - 21st June
Called to investigate a fire reported by a passing security guard. Fire was likely to be a burn undertaken by Park staff. Fire was mopped up before departing. Attended by Dave S., Elton, Graeme, Keith, and Nick T.
Announcements
Acting CESM
As part of regional staffing changes, Jamie O'Neill will be acting as District Officer North East. In his absence Gary Rowles will be acting as CESM and Chief.
Expressions of Interest - Station Crew Officer
Expressions of Interest are sought for a member to take on the role of Station Crew Officer. This roll will be responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the Brigade Station Crew. These activities include:
- Station maintenance;
- Vehicle make-up;
- Hydrant maintenance;
- Supporting campaign operations;
- Station radio operations.
Whilst the role will not involve active fire fighting, a solid knowledge of fire fighting and operational requirements is required.

PPE Audit
One of the activities undertaken over the winter period is an audit of all PPE for wear and damage. This will be conducted by the Equipment Officer. If you wish to be present during the inspection of your PPE, please contact Keith.
It is also requested that your PPE is labelled - initials written in permanent marker inside the hem should be sufficient.

Mundaring Fire School
The latest Mundaring Fire School calendar is attached.
The upcoming WAERN Basic and Advanced courses are light on for numbers and will be cancelled unless further attendees sign up.
Administration
2018 Reaffirmation Form
The 2018 Reaffirmation Form has been circulated to all members. This form provides an opportunity for our members to update their details with the Brigade. Information collected in this form will be used to inform our operational response,as well as compile the Brigade's entry in the Shire of Mundaring Emergency Services Directory.
Completed forms should be returned no later than Monday the 2nd of July. Print-outs of the form will also be available at the station, next to the sign-in book.

Chidlow Station Break-in
Chidlow Station was broken into recently, with some hand-held radios and other items stolen. Members are asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity around the station.
