+DFES is running Bushfire Ready Facilitator training on the 22nd of July, at the WAFES Academy in Forrestfield. The Bushfire Ready Program is a community-led program that provides an opportunity for neighbours to network, share ideas and information, and helps them to develop and implement plans to reduce their bushfire risk. It requires input and facilitation from Career or Volunteer personnel who can provide technical expertise on bushfire behaviour and preparation. The Bushfire Ready Facilitator role can be undertaken by any CFRS, VFRS, VFES and BFB personnel and can be applied for like any other course via eAcademy.
