Goldfields Midlands RUI Exercise 2018

Shire of Mundaring Brigades have been invited by the Toodyay CESM Rob Koch to participate in the Goldfields Midlands Regional RUI Exercise. The exercise will be held on the 1st of September 2018, at the Toodyay Show Grounds. Start time is 0800 and finishing at 1300. Lunch will be provided.

This will be a great opportunity to work with our neighbouring shires, and to refresh our RUI skills prior to our own RUI exercise in October.

If you would like to attend please let me know by Wednesday the 22nd August for planning and catering.

2018 RUI Exercise

The date for the 2018 Shire of Mundaring RUI Exercise has been announced as Saturday the 6th of October. The scale of the exercise is being increased this year, and will involve brigades from The Shire of Mundaring, City of Swan, and Shire of Chittering.

This is an interesting and valuable exercise, and provides a fantastic opportunity for new Crew Leaders to gain some exposure to large scale incidents ahead of the fire season. If you are interested in participating, please contact Adrian.

No updates.

The latest Mundaring Fire School calendar is attached.

As part of the Brigade's entry into the 2018 City to Surf, the Brigade is fund-raising for the Black Dog Institute. Members, family, and friends are encouraged to donate to this important charity. Donations can be made through the team's Every Day Hero fund-raising page.
