Hot Weather Forecast Friday - Monday
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting hot weather over the coming days, between Friday and Monday. As of Wednesday evening, Sunday is forecast with a Very High fire danger, and Sunday forecast with Severe.
Please ensure that your availability is updated in BART over this period, and where possible take these forecasts into your weekend plans.

eAcademy Training Approvals
The Mundaring Chief has requested that all Brigade members be reminded of the correct method for applying training courses in eAcademy. In particular, the applicants should select the Brigade Captain or Training Officer to approve an application for training.
A document providing a short guide to applying for training courses is attached.

The training calendar for 2019 has been released by the Mundaring Fire School. The calendar is |attached.

Special General Meeting, 29th January
Sawyers Valley Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Incorporated is convening a Special General Meeting at which the following resolution(s) will be proposed as a special resolution to alter the Rules (Constitution) of the Association/Brigade.
Special Resolution(s): It is proposed to adopt the Model Rules (as set out in Schedule 2 of the Associations Incorporation Regulations 2016) and the Association’s documents SVVBFB Rules of Association and SVVBFB By-Laws including the Code of Conduct, in place of all of the existing Constitution (Rules) of the Sawyers Valley Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Incorporated.
This meeting will be held on January the 29th, at the Ashstead Street Fire Station, from 19:00. All members are encouraged to attend and participate this meeting.
