Announcements
Bushfire Wars Filming
The Shire of Mundaring has been approached by National Geographic regarding the possibility of filming local bushfire crews responding to incidents. This follows on from several successful series of Bushfire Wars featuring crews from Parks and Wildlife Service.
It is envisaged that footage would be recorded using a helmet mounted camera, supplied by the production company.
Can you please give this possibility your consideration, and indicate whether you have either a preference to be involved or not involved in such filming. Please contact Adrian with your thoughts on this matter.

The Training Support Officer for North Metro Operations has advised that there are vacancies available in the up-coming Workplace Trainer Assessor course, to be held on the 13th, 14th, and 27th of April. This training forms part of the VFF5 Pathway and is useful training for Brigade officers. This course can be booked through eAcadamy, or by contacting Rob.
Rob has also asked if members can contact him if their applications for courses via eAcadamy are stuck in “Wait List”. It is also worth dropping Rob an email when you apply for either a training course or Pathway so he is able to follow it through the system.
