Burn Completed - Bambrook St

A hazard reduction burn at Bambrook St was undertaken last weekend, and finalised yesterday, with an excellent result achieved.

The burn was attended by Ben M., Dave W., Elton, John R., Kath, Keith, Murray, Nick T., and Warren.

Many thanks to Warren for organising and coordinating this burn.

Mundaring Chief Away

The Chief Bushfire Control Officer for the Shire of Mundaring, Jamie O'Neill, is currently on secondment to the Kimberly, assisting with their fire season. Dan Heptinstall will be acting in his place.

The latest Mundaring Fire School calendar is attached.

Registration is currently open for delegates to the 2019 WAFES Conference. Two delegates from each BGU (Brigade) are invited to nominate to attend the conference, and must be endorsed by the BGU Leader (Captain). Registrations close Monday the 26th of August.

If you are interested in attending the WAFES Conference on behalf of our Brigade, please contact Adrian.

The conference will run from Friday the 6th of September to Sunday the 8th of September.

A team for the City to Surf has now been registered. Interested members are encouraged to sign-up and participate in this fantastic team event.

Dress: Full PPE (trainers not boots)
Distance: 12km
Speed: Walk

The registration fee is $55 per person.

This will be a family event, so anyone is welcome to join in.
