1.4 Pump Choke

Following the replacement of the pump and pump motor on the 1.4, a fault has been discovered with start-choke. Pressing the “choke” button on the control panel does not activate the choke, making the pump more difficult to start when cold. The fault has been reported, and will be remediated once the warm weather has passed.

A partial work-around involves simply pulling the actuator and choke manually (there is sufficient movement on the mounting bracket). The pump will also eventually start with enough cranking, even if cold.
