1st January - Smouldering Stump, Sawyers Valley
Turned out New Years Day to report of smoke on Chidlow Rd. Located a smouldering stump on Old Northam Rd, remnant of a previous P&WS burn.
Attended by Adrian, Dave Wh., Elton, and Warren.

eAcademy 2 and New Pathways
The new eAcademy 2 is now live, and can be accessed through the Volunteer Hub. In addition to the new eAcademy, the new Pathways have also been released. Of particular note, progression through the Pathways is now automatic - completing all of the prerequisite training for a pathway will now place you onto that pathway. Please time some time to have a look at the new eAcademy and Pathways. If you have any questions, please see Rob or Adrian.

Telstra Offer Free Calls to Fire-fighters
In response to the catastrophic fires in NSW and Victoria, Telstra has created an assistance package for volunteer fire-fighters. Eligible fire fighters will have the cost of their Telstra mobile bill covered throughout December and January.
