Off the back of the successful Santa Run, and the high level of media attention regarding bush fires now is an ideal time for a recruiting drive. Over the next couple of weeks we will be aiming to complete a letter drop across Sawyers Valley, urging local residence to consider joining our Brigade.

If you are available to assist, please contact Dave Wh. or Adrian, and if you know someone who may be interested please encourage them to come along to the station on a Saturday morning.

The City of Wanneroo is holding an even to thank the emergency services personnel who assisted with the Yanchep bush fires. The event will include live music, food trucks, and a “kid's zone”. Wearing a Brigade shirt will allow your children free access to the kid's zone, with 10 inflatable rides, alpacas, workshops, and arts'n'crafts.

The even will be held on Sunday the 2nd of February, at Splendid Park, Yanchep.
