Called to report of fire on Lance St, Sawyers Valley. Found a regulation 1sqm pile, being attended to by residents. Provided advice on compliance.

Turned out to report of illegal burn near Ashstead St. Found 1sqm pile which had been light prior to 18:00. Educated resident regarding their obligations. No further action.

DFES are covering the cost of flu vaccinations for bushfire volunteers (up to $20 per person). To claim the reimbursement, send Jen a copy of the receipt and you will be reimbursed directly from Brigade funds. Once a number of claims have been made, the paperwork will be submitted to DFES to reimburse the Brigade.
