2020/2021 Skills Refresher Complete
Following a terrific effort by our Brigade the 2020/2021 Skills Fresher as been completed by all operational members. The focus for training will now switch to higher level topics such as Incident Management, Radio Operations, and Support at Structure Fires.
Many thanks to Ben for coordinating the Skills Refresher assessments for this year and ensuring that everyone made it across the line.

Santa Lolly Run
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Santa and the Naughty Elf are coming on their sleigh…NOT
The sleigh is broken; the reindeer have stopped training for their annual ride; Santa has buried his head in the snow refusing to come out of his workshop; and the Naughty Elf was last seen making off with the Christmas pudding…leaving Mrs Claus to send out an SOS.
Vicki is looking for volunteers to drive either the Light Tanker or the 1-4 (depending on availability), and of course the Austin. In the hope of avoiding the December heat, this year’s lolly run will be held over two afternoons – Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th December, commencing at around 1630 hours. If you are able to assist with the driving can you please contact Vicki. Santa, the Naughty Elf and the children of Sawyers Valley will be very grateful.
Post-Christmas Party
Will be held on Monday, 28th December commencing at 1730. Details to follow in coming weeks.
