A debrief and post incident analysis of the Brigade's involvement with the Wooroloo incident will be held by our Brigade on Wednesday the 24th of February, starting at 19:30. The debrief will include a presentation from the DFES Wellness Branch concerning Critical Incident stress.

The post incident analysis will look at both the positive achievements and areas for improvement. Where appropriate these will be reported to the Shire of Mundaring and DFES via the CBFCO.

Mundaring Fire School

The current Mundaring Fire School Calendar is attached.

Once again the Brigade will be participating in the Bendigo Bank Community Raffle. This year the Brigade has 15 raffle books to sell, with ticket sales closing on the 24th of May. The raffle will be draw on the 4th of June.

  • 1st prize: $20,000
  • 2nd - 6th prize: $1,000 Bendigo Bank savings accounts

Raffle books can be collected from Vicki.

The WA State Election (13th March) and Station Open Day (revised date 27th March), both promise to be excellent opportunities the raise the profile of our Brigade and promote volunteering. Assistance will be required for both these events, including the preparation of promotional material, organising activities, and attending the polling station.

  • Monday 22nd: Monthly Brigade Meeting, 19:30 at the Station
  • Tuesday 23rd: Weekly Vehicle Checks, 19:30 at the Station, Crew B*
  • Wednesday 24th: Wooroloo Debrief, 19:30 at the Station

* May be completed prior to either Monday or Wednesday night's meetings.
