Wednesday evening sees us halfway through the 4 day lockdown. With one additional case reported today, it remains unclear whether the lockdown will be extended, or will end on Saturday morning as planned.

Please take the time to refresh your knowledge of the DFES COVID-19 Safe Operations Guidelines, and the Interim Operational Procedures 03, 06, and 08 (attached).

It is planned that Saturday morning training shall proceed as normal, unless there is an extension of the lockdown period.

The Brigade is required nominate members to be appointed as Permit Issuing Fire Control Officers. These officers have the responsibility of issuing permits to burn during the Restricted Burning Period within the Shire of Mundaring. Expressions of Interest are sought for suitably experienced and qualified members to nominate for this important position.
