COVID-19 Precautions

Last week the Shire of Mundaring elected to enhance the COVID-19 precautions that brigades are required to follow. These precautions were communicated via email on Friday the 25th (subject: COVID restrictions from Shire of Mundaring). A summary of these precautions are as follows:

  • In-person activities restricted to operations and weekly checks;
  • Meetings and training shall be conducted online;
  • P2/N95 masks required whenever travelling in the appliances or attending an incident;
  • Appliances, equipment, and station to be sanitised after use;
  • No attendance at the station without prior approval (excepting turning out to incidents).

Saturday morning training shall be conducted online, and Saturday morning radio checks will be suspended.
