A large number of COVID-19 RATs have been supplied to the Brigade. Boxes of 20 tests have been left in member's lockers, with additions tests available through Keith as required.

Whilst there is not current mandate for testing prior to attending the station, testing will be undertaken prior to high risk activities (indoor training, burn-over training, etc).

If you have any questions regarding COVID-19 precautions, please contact Adrian.

With the adoption of the new Australian Fire Danger Rating System approaching on the 1st of September 2022, DFES has made available further resources to help bring brigades and the wider community up to speed with the changing system.

A fact sheet summarising the new system, and list of "talking points" for community engagement are attached. There is additional information available on the Volunteer Hub and DFES Website.
