Incidents
Saturday 14th, Scrub Fire, Great Eastern Highway
Called to report of smoke near Stephenson St in Sawyers Valley. Fire was initially difficult to locate, although evident through a visible column and general haze. Eventually located in bush South of Great Eastern Highway between Mundaring and Sawyers Valley. Burning in two year old fuel the fire showed low intensity, and had possibly been alight since the recent thunderstorm. Extinguished with the assistance of Mt Helena VBFB and DBCA Perth Hills.

Sunday 15th, Scrub Fire, The Lakes
Turned out to assist at a scrub fire near Horton Rd at The Lakes. Whilst the fire was burning on both sides of the highway it was quickly controlled by the large number of brigades attending.

Tuesday 17th, Bushfire, Chidlow
Called out to 3rd Alarm bushfire near Jordan Rd in Chidlow. Whilst fire behaviour was initially intense, a combination of falling winds, aerial support, and large brigade response quickly controlled the fire. A second shift saw the fire completely blacked out that night, ahead of forecast strong winds.
