High Season Appliances in Mundaring
At the start of the High Threat Period, a number of high season appliances are stationed at volunteer brigades throughout the Hills. In Mundaring this typically involves an additional Light Tanker at Mundaring VFRS, and a Light Tanker and 2.4 at Darlington BFB.
Recently a 3.4U has also been stationed at Mundaring VFRS. This provides a valuable resource to our area, which should be considered in any request for resources when responding to an incident.
It is unknown how long this high season appliances will remain in the area, although it is anticipated that they will be retained until at least the end of March.
