A number a 2nd and 3rd fires have occurred around the Metro area over the past couple of weeks. Whilst generally concluded within a few hours, these fires have required significant resources to control. Without any significant rain for the past few months, the potential for bushfires in our area remains strong.

Members are asked to keep their availability in BART up to date.

The Swan Fire Training Coordinator has indicated that there are a number of free places on the Structural Firefighting course being held on 15th and 16th of April, at Bullsbook fire station.

Anyone interested in attending this course should contact Adrian.
