Joint Hazard Reduction Burn, 15th April, Wooroloo
Last year the Brigade was involved with the inspection and preparation for a hazard reduction burn in Wooroloo. The Captain of Wooroloo VBFB has indicated that they would like to attempt this burn on this coming Saturday, the 15th of April.
Anyone interested and available to assist should contact Adrian as soon as possible.
Note of Thanks From DBCA District Fire Coordinator
The DBCA Perth Hills District Fire Coordinator has written to our Chief with a special note of thanks to our Brigade for the assistance provided at the recent hazard reduction burn in Sawyers Valley.
I just wanted to touch base and pass on our thanks to the Sawyers Valley brigade for their assistance at the burn last Tuesday. The feedback that I received from the crews that worked with them was extremely positive, and having their support assisted us greatly in getting the burn done.
Once again, well done to all of our members for their efforts at this burn, and for representing our Brigade.
