Changes to COVID-19 Restrictions

Following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions by the State Government this week, the Chief has announced some changes to restrictions for Shire bushfire brigades.

Attached is an email detailing the new requirements.

The implications for our Brigade are still being assessed, and will be discussed by the Committee of Management and Operations Group.

Online Permits

The Shire of Mundaring has released an online system for issuing Permits to Set Fire to the Bush. Local residents will now be able to apply for a permit using the online system, however permits will continue to not be issued by Brigade FCOs.

Attached is an email detailing the new online permit system.
