Ground Controller Refresher, 21st November
Darlington VBFB have organised a Ground Controller Pre-Season Refresher for Saturday the 21st of November, starting at 12:00. The refresher is targeted at currently qualified Ground Controllers and doesn't replace the full Ground Controller training. Other interested members are welcome to come along and observe the briefing, which will include a demonstration by a Helitac.

Vehicle Movement Reporting
Attached is a document which details the requirements for updating 6IP, as well as the Captain and First Lieutenant, on the movement and availability of Brigade appliances. Please take the time to read and understand this document; as we head into the bushfire season the availability of Brigade appliances is increasingly important.

Administration
Containers for Change - Scheme ID C10346626
The Brigade has registered to become a collection point for the WA Container Deposit Scheme, which targets most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard beverage containers. The Shire offers a bin delivery and collection service, with recycling bins collected fortnightly and taken to the recycling centre for processing. Our collection bin should hopefully be delivered within the week. If Brigade members aren't already donating eligible recyclable containers to a school or group, please feel free to drop them off to the Station bin, all donations will be gratefully accepted.
