CFS Volunteer Tragedy
On Friday the 21st of January 2022, South Australia Country Fire Service volunteer Louise Hincks was killed by a falling tree whilst fighting the Coles wildfire near Lucindale. Louise was a senior fire fighter with the Happy Valley brigade, having first joined the CFS 28 years ago as a teenager. She leaves behind her husband and two daughters.
A Go-Fund-Me page has been established to support her family.
This Saturday the 29th a Eulogy will be read ahead of the weekly sched, followed by a minute silence.

Shire Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Annual Event - 12th March
The Shire of Mundaring is once again holding the annual Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade family event, on Saturday the 12th of March at Harry Riseborough Oval. Along side dinner will be the inter-brigade tug-of-war competition, and the presentation of Life Membership Awards.
No RSVP date has been set yet, however invitations are expected in the coming weeks.
