New Fire Water Tanks
Three new fire water tanks have been installed in the eastern end of the Shire. The new tanks are located at:
- Intersection of Ash & Illberry Rd, Beechina
- Within Chidlow Transfer Station, Mathieson Rd
- Rosedale Rd just past Lake Leschenaultia
The tanks are secured using standard Shire locks, and are available for both fire response and hazard reduction burns. It is important to notify the Shire if the tanks are used so they can be refilled.
Thanks to Karen Dore at the Shire for securing the funding grant for these new tanks.
