Zone 2 Turnouts Start 1st December
The enhanced turnout arrangements, known as a Zone 2 turnout, come into effect from the 1st of December. These arrangements call for any reported fire to be attended by a BFS brigade, a V/FRS station, a PaWS unit, and aerial support. This enhanced response aims to rapidly suppress and control any fires in the high-risk Zone 2 area.
It is important that the first arrival appliance take this enhanced turn-out into consideration. If the additional resources are not required, make the appropriate calls to stand-down any incoming crews and equipment.
In simple terms, Zone 2 within the Shire of Mundaring is West of Stoneville Rd / Mundaring Weir Rd.

Brigade Christmas Function - 28th December
At the meeting on Monday night, the date for the annual Christmas party was set for the 28th of December. This will be held at the station, starting around 18:00. Please bring either a salad or dessert to share, with BBQ meat and drinks provided.
