As mentioned in Operational Circular 33/2024, two new training modules have been released concerning the new Australian Warning System (AWS). The two modules are:

• AWS Awareness
• Applying the AWS

All personnel are encouraged to undertake the AWS Awareness training, which provides an overview of the AWS and how it is applied in Western Australia. Additionally, any personnel who are likely to be in a position to issue public warnings during an incident are encouraged to completed Applying the AWS.

Both modules are available online through eAcademy.

Version 3.2 of the Brigade Bylaws has been uploaded to the Brigade Website. The update pertains to Cost of Brigade services.
